CEC Kharon, Hangar Deck, Hangar Bay 1
IC Time: Post Holocaust Day #71
OOC Time: Sun Jun 28 17:10:31 2009

There's activity here at almost every hour of the day. Impact guns can be heard with their shrieking rumble while crew call back and forth, their voices carrying just above the din of the work here. What's readily apparent is that this is the main Hangar Bay for the Vipers, the distance going back further than the other two Bays which are separated by thick, hydraulically rolled blast doors. On each side of the room, near the Fore end, six Viper tubes are ready for quick deployment of the Kharon's Viper squadron. Lining the rest of Hangar Bay One, each Mark Two and Mark Seven has its own place to be kept with a small red toolchest that holds the minimum of required equipment for quick maintenance.

Along the floor, each individual Viper bay is painted off with a single hashed yellow and black stripe. A deep red line denotes important electrical conduits and access ports just below the deck while a bright blue line follows up walls and across the floor to tell where the Tylium lines run in case of fire. Outlets along the wall for the fuel as well as corrugated rubber piping stand ready for use, fluorescent yellow firefighting gear kept in plain sight for easy access nearby.

[Wolf-4: Samantha] Case begins going through her initial interior check, that shit eating grin gone now, replaced by all business and skill. She finally secures her helmet into her flight suit, clicking it shut and giving a thumbs up to the deck crew at her side.

[Foxbat-1: Legacy] Thea goes through her exterior pre-flight check and then the interior, talking quietly with her ECO. She goes through her usual thorough checks before settling in and buckling up.

[Wolf-3: Hale] Hale is already strapped in and going through preflight, as a PO from his air crew is helping him on with a helmet. Once its secure, Rabbit's running through the motions of checking systems and making sure everything is operational for this particular big dance.

[TAC3] "Dash" Martin says, "Actual, Dash, pre-flight complete and on the skids, ready to launch on order, out."

[Foxbat-3: Timon] "This'll be fun, Thorn," says Stathis to his ECO, harnessing himself into the pilot seat of Foxbat-3 as he does. "Walk-around looked good to me, flight controls, good, tylium tanks topped off and ready to go. How's them canopy locks?" This particular Raptor isn't his usual ride, and meticulous SOB that he is, he wants to make damn well sure that everything works before driving into the middle of Cylon space.

[TAC3] "Case" Samantha says, "Looks like a nice day for a planetside visit, hm?"

[TAC3] "Rebound" Willem says, "Rebound here. Remind me to pick up some hot wings. Isn't Scorpion junk food on our req list?"

[TAC3] "Jester" Xanthus says, "I'll show you some hotwings. Just give me a few seconds with a Raider."

[TAC3] "Case" Samantha says, "Case here. Frak, now I'm hungry."

[TAC3] "Tinman" Castor says, "Hey Case, I've always wanted a planet side visit, think we could plan for some sort of picnic?"

[TAC3] "Case" Samantha says, "Sounds bloody nice, Tinman… but I forgot my sandals. Guess we'll just have to focus on work. Speaking of, all looks clear ahead, Actual. Smooth sailing so far."

[TAC3] "Black Cat" Legacy says, "Tinman, this is Black Cat. I somehow suspect your still-ill girlfriend would be highly incensed by you making a date with another woman. Don't make me have to turn the other way when she kicks your ass."

[TAC3] "Dash" Martin says, "Bleeble. Blobble. Bloople. If you guys come back with hot wings I'm gonna be pissed because they're making my ass work today."

[TAC3] "Spider" Kai says, "Raptors and escort vipers, form up at the following coordinates. Once we've got clearance from command, we'll be moving out."

[TAC3] "Ivory" Timon says, "Roger, Spider. Ivory is heading there now."

[TAC3] "Rebound" Willem says, "Don't forget the Barbecue kind, Jester.(pause) Spider, Rebound. Copy that."

[TAC3] "Rabbit" Hale says, " Ok Alert vipers, Rabbit. You will be with me, here are your assignments so form up accordingly. Jester, you're with Dash.. Fingers you're with Tinman. Triple, you're with Merlin. Typhoon you're with sparky. And mooner, you're with me. Alright everyone, keep your eyes peeled."

[Wolf-1: Kai] Kai lights his burners once he's clear of the ship, and swings away from the alert fighters that were launched. The coordinates are sent over his comm, as promised.

[TAC3] "Tinman" Castor says, "Black Cat, this would be a purely platonic picnic, my heart belongs to Flash."

[Wolf-11: Willem] Willem's Viper kicks up the throttle and follows formation with the departing Raptors.

[TAC3] "Black Cat" Legacy says, "Black Cat copy, Spider. Good luck out there."

[TAC3] "Dash" Martin says, "Good hunting, Assholes, you too Flashhole.. CIC, Dash. Beginning CAP pattern Alpha. Jester form on my five and slack. Over and out."

[TAC3] "Spider" Kai says, "Likewise, Black Cat."

[TAC3] "Jester" Xanthus says, "Dash, Jester. Forming up and bringing the pain."

[Wolf-5: Xanthus] Jester's craft swings over and takes up Dash's lower right side.

[TAC3] "Rabbit" Hale says, " Good Hunting Spider. I got em here.. See you soon."

[TAC3] "Rebound" Willem says, "And my heart belongs to Miss Picon last year. You can have my magazine spread if I eat it, guys. Roll dice for it."

[Foxbat-3: Timon] Foxbat-3 lumbers off into space, her engines glowing a sickly yellow as she angles toward the designated coordinates.

[TAC3] "Flash" Kassia says, "Fly save guys, good hunting."

[TAC3] "Spider" Kai says, "Copy, Rabbit. Good hunting, and gods keep you."

[TAC3] "Mooner" Eddie says, "Forming up on your four, Rabbit. Good hunting. *bang bang*"

[Wolf-9: Martin] Dash waits for Jester to form up to begin the CAP pattern that will lead them alongside the port side of the Kharon. Not being too flashy about the maneuvers, Dash takes it easy and keeps his eyes peeled. One eye on the viewport and another on DRADIS, he lets out a slow breath as the tension builds. They're in deep, and this would be a predictable move for their dwindling species to make.

[TAC3] "Rabbit" Hale says, "Copy that Mooner. Gods speed home guard. Lets keep the fires lit for em.. Alright Mooner, we're taking the Starboard side.. so follow pattern beta. Go."

[Wolf-7: Castor] Wolf-7 and Kales ship keep a constant and almost strangely connected wing, if one moves, so does the other. As Leda hears Kassia's voice he smiles softly to himself from his Viper and says something in response.

[Wolf-4: Samantha] Case falls into formation behind the Raptor that she and Ivory are escorting. For all her previous joking, she's now flying level and calm, mostly quiet over the tactical channel now. She keeps her eyes tightly on sensors and the windows outside, flickering looks, scanning the space around just in case. It looked too clear to be true.

[TAC3] "Dash" Martin says, "CIC, Dash, CAP in progress nothing to report at interval 1."

[TAC3] "Tinman" Castor says, "Roger that Kharon, I'll bring you a nice souviner. Flash, anything you want me to bring home?"

[Wolf-8: Eddie] Eddie's fist bumps the canopy twice over her head, then she sticks in behind Hale. Here's to hoping all that work she and Rabbit did in the Sims and on CAP will help her tonight.

[Wolf-3: Hale] Rabbit does a wing waggle of a salute to those departing, as Eddie forms up on his for. A slight kick of the thrusters and he is bringing coming around in scope out the starboard side of Kharon. Moving along quite easily.

[Wolf-12: Antioch] Antioch tilts his Viper, falling into position as a Raptor escort. He's quiet, intensely focused on the job at hand, letting the skills come back to him naturally. Sims are no excuse for being in the real thing, obviously.

[Wolf-1: Kai] Spider slots in neatly on Legacy's three, with a brief glance across to Rebound to make sure he's in position. Nothing fancy, but escort duty rarely is.

[Wolf-11: Willem] And in position Rebound is, maintining a comfortable cruising velocity, eyes flickering from DRADIS to visual output, making fine adjustments to the controls as he goes.

[TAC3] "Case" Samantha says, "How's it feelin' back there, Screamer? Settlin' in okay?"

[Foxbat-1: Legacy] Foxbat-1 settles into formation between Spider and Rebound, cutting easily through space with her precious cargo. Or is that Speshul cargo?

[Wolf-5: Xanthus] Wolf-5 sticks to Martin's craft good and tight. Its pilot's keeping one eye on his sensors, and the other on the great black expanse. Glances towards his species former(?) home are kept to a minimum, as though he just doesn't want to think about it.

[Foxbat-3: Komnenos] While the rest of the wing is flitting about, Komnenos is ensconced in the back seat of Foxbat-3, eyes trained — as usual — on DRADIS. The not-so-friendly skies of the Colonies are clear thus far, and Thorn is hoping it stays that way. He's more or less oblivious to the group of grunts strapped in behind him as his craft's electronic eyes keep sweeping for Cylons.

[TAC3] "Rabbit" Hale says, " Kharon Actual, this is Rabbit. Sweep of the Starboard side shows no bandits. We're all clear."

[Wolf-2: Jupiter] Fingers is hot on the tail of her fellow pilots, kickin into formation with Castor.

As the vipers clear the Kharon the DRADIS seems clear. Nary a blib to be seen. Looks like clear sailing through to Scorpia. The colony waits, like a long lost lover, beckoning the Colonials home. The problem is the bitch has bodyguards. They just haven't shown themselves yet.

[TAC3] "Case" Samantha says, ""Ain't she pretty…almost feels like home…<a low, quiet, appreciative whistle from the woman>""

[Wolf-9: Martin]
Dash's viper continues its protective fighter screen of the Kharon, watching for signs of movement beyond their perimeter and hoping to not hear the telltale beeping of the DRADIS announcing new contacts. Keeping his breathing slow, he starts to chomp on the bit a little, drumming his gloved fingertips on his knee.

[Wolf-11: Willem] A couple fine touches to the controls And Willem's course corrects as he cruises along, dimly lit cockpit illuminating his face as he gets a good look at the planet on approach. In space, nobody can hear you sigh.

[TAC3] "Kharon Actual" Sheridan says, "Dash, Kharon. Copy that. The skies look clear from here, good hunting out there."

[TAC3] "Hellcat" McTiernan says, "OOC: Test."

[Wolf-3: Hale] Rabbit comes around as he keeps the screening pattern going. No blips or chirps coming from DRADIS, so Rabbit keeps her going smooth and easy. A turn of his head, as he's bringing the ship back around for another sweep.

[TAC3] "Case" Samantha says, "I got somethin' on DRADIS…Anyone else seein' that?"

[TAC3] "Rabbit" Hale says, " Alert Vipers, Rabbit. How's everything looking?"

[TAC3] "Spider" Kai says, "Confirmed, Case. Black Cat, Ivory, back it off a little. The rest of you, hold formation for now."

[Wolf-4: Samantha] Case keeps on her course, though she reaches forward, trying to see the readings a touch clearer as they're getting closer to the planet. She closes in just a hint on the Raptor she's escorting. Just in case.

[TAC3] "Case" Samantha says, "Gotcha, sir. Holding formation…"

[TAC3] "Black Cat" Legacy says, "Copy, Spider. Cycling back to half."

[TAC3] "Rebound" Willem says, "Cat n' Spider, Rebound. I see something. It's probably nit an ice cream truck and probably smells like Engine oil and tin. Eyes on DRADIS."

[TAC3] "Ivory" Timon says, "Spider, Ivory, loud and clear. Getting behind the escorts."

[Wolf-1: Kai] Spider chops his throttles a little, slipping ahead into a forward guard just in front of Legacy's raptor.

[Wolf-8: Eddie] Mooner glides her bird behind Hale's, gliding nice and easy behind him. Once the teams have all split, Eddie reaches down with her gloved fingers to click on the music that she keeps piped into her cockpit while she flies. Today's choice? Smoky Jazz.

[Wolf-11: Willem] Monkey see, monkey do. Not wanting to make a fool of himself in front of this grand audience, Wil follows suit following Kai's lead.

[TAC3] "Thorn" Komnenos says, "All ships, Thorn. DRADIS contacts confirmed; numbers and ID are uncertain, but they're in a hot hurry, t' be sure."

[Wolf-2: Jupiter] Fingers stays on her wing, keeping the flying tight, now showy, at least for now. Her bitd is throttled back a bit, and she glances down at her readout.

A blip pops on DRADIS. Then two. As the raptors pull ahead of the main body of vipers patrolling the Kharon, it soon becomes obvious that trouble is about to come knocking. The force seems… small. After a few moments of looking, it's clear there are three bogeys coming in hot from high atmo. But are they bandits? As the three pull in, a fourth pops up. Visual confirmation is not difficult to make. They break atmo closer to the Kharon than the Raptors with escort, and come in hot. ETA 2 minutes.

[TAC3] "Case" Samantha says, "Weapons hot, sir? For when they decide to visit? They sure as hell don't seem to be slowin' down…"

[Wolf-7: Castor] Tinman in Wolf-7 flys along with Kale if anything shows up he will be among the first to know and as the call for DRADIS contacts comes up he preps himself in that strange almost emotionless waythat he does. It would seem that he is ready for combat though it wouldn't come through in his movements or his voice. He flies with Kale as the two continue in their perfect wing formation as they await combat. Neither of them saying anything at this point.

[Wolf-9: Martin]

Martin angles his Viper to continue its course but allow him to keep a visual on the ones coming from the surface. Responding over the wireless, he sets his finger over the primer weapons, flipping them active. Sure, the call hasn't come out yet, but flipping a button takes some sweet-ass time. He responds over the wireless with no lack of urgency.

[TAC3] "Thorn" Komnenos says, "All ships, Thorn… I have 4 contacts confirmed on DRADIS. Looks like Cylon signatures. Bandits are on an intercept course, closing fast… ETA, 2 minutes."

[Wolf-5: Xanthus] "Who ordered the hot wings?" Jester doesn't actually broadcast it, of course. But the sarcastic remark does bounce around his cockpit. He checks his formation, making sure he's properly in place, then keeps an eye on the DRADIS, as well as the direction of the incoming Raiders.

[TAC3] "Spider" Kai says, "Copy, Thorn. Escort vipers, weapons hot."

[TAC3] "Jester" Xanthus says, "Dash, Jester. Tight or loose?"

[TAC3] "Rebound" Willem says, "Spider, Rebound. Copy that. Trash detail? Weapons hot."

[TAC3] "Dash" Martin says, "Ready, Dash, I've got a visual. Shit two minutes? Stay loose Jester and we rebound cover on eachother. There's only four of the frakkers at the moment, stay frosty there, Jester."

[Wolf-12: Antioch] Antioch mirrors Samantha's movements as he continues to stay close to the Raptor he's guarding. Someone's got to make sure the meatbag cargo gets where it's going, after all. He tenses as the DRADIS starts singing out with news of unwanted guests.

[TAC3] "Mooner" Eddie says, "Mooner requesting weapons hot for the guard dogs."

[TAC3] "Fingers" Jupiter says, "Looks like we're earning out paychecks today, Tins."

[Into the Wireless] Jupiter says, "Looks like we're earning out paychecks today, Tins."

[Wolf-4: Samantha] The moment the order is given, Case fires up, weapons hot, keeping in formation but giving the briefest little wing-wiggle towards Antioch, a welcoming of her new Wingman and just a bit of encouragement before the fight.

[Wolf-3: Hale] Nothing has hit DRADIS yet for Hale and as chatter comes over, he's turning his head to try and look as he is still coming around on his pass over. A curse, before he's swinging around to head towards where the threat might be coming from. Time to do their job right?

[TAC3] "Case" Samantha says, "Weapons are ready, sir. Let's blow us some shit up, eh?"

[TAC3] "Rabbit" Hale says, " Kharon Actual. Rabbit requesting Weapons free, for all alert vipers. It appears we might have company."

[Wolf-1: Kai] Kai reaches for a switch above his head, flicking it on, along with something else on his console. Steady on the stick, he stays on Legacy's right flank like white on rice.

[TAC3] "Kharon Actual" Sheridan says, "Copy, Rabbit. You are authorised weapons free."

[Wolf-11: Willem] A switch is flicked, and Wil's weapons are free as he moves along with Spider and Cat, on her Raptor's left. He smiles ruefully, illuminated by the cockpit's dim glow and keeping a flexible, yet firm grip on the stick.

[Foxbat-1: Legacy] Thea's raptor continues to soar through space, moving away from the incoming Raiders, getting out of the way of the Vipers. As always, she makes sure her escorts are nearby.

[TAC3] "Rabbit" Hale says, " Roger Kharon. Alright boys and girls. Weapons free. Weapons Free."

[TAC3] "Mooner" Eddie says, "Copy that, Rabbit. Mooner is going green for live fire."

[Wolf-9: Martin]

Dash nose-pivots his Viper on an intercept course with the incoming Raiders. Eyes narrowing, he scoots to port just a little to give Jester a better firing lane. Selecting his target, he issues his wingman plan over wireless, beginning his initial attack run.

[Wolf-2: Jupiter] Fingers thumbs off the safeties and goes weapons hot, then checks a few things on the console. Her viper speeds toward the combat on an intercept.

[TAC3] "Fingers" Jupiter says, "Move it lose it."

[TAC3] "Dash" Martin says, "Jester, Dash, mark my targe and coordinate fire, clean and sweep and move onto the next until they start to paint us. The longer we go without being attacked, the more room we have to clean some tail. Over."

[Wolf-3: Hale] Coming in Hot, Rabbit kicks the tires, to hurry in to intercept, With a target in sights, there's a quick roll and coming down to go after his Raider. Lets see how long they can hold them off.

[TAC3] "Jester" Xanthus says, "Dash, I read you. Complying. Looks like we're going to get some hot wings after all."

[TAC3] "Rabbit" Hale says, " Vipers, Rabbit. Stay clear of the Triple A, and lets not let them get any closer than they are."

[Wolf-5: Xanthus] Jester seperates from his wingmate, staying loose and preparing to intercept his guns onto the target Dash has painted for them both. He gives his afterburners light, tactical taps to nudge himself into a decent firing position. His teeth refect off of his helmet. Payback will commence in three.. two…

[Wolf-8: Eddie] Eddie banks after Rabbit, flexing her hand around the stick to get a better grip. Her HUD is active with weapons free, and she's grinding her teeth while she waits for the intercept.

The bandits are coming it hot, now that the four Raiders has joined up together. They're screaming after the Kharon, but they're more then happy to mow through the Vipers on their way to the Big Momma.

[TAC3] "Black Cat" Legacy says, "Black Cat copy, Spider. ECM suites hot and ready to go on your mark. Swinging around to suppression stance."

[Wolf-7: Castor] Tinman moves in to protect his wingman, why, because it is what wingmen do. He is moving as quickly as he can, though clearly murder is on his mind.

[TAC4] "Spider" Kai says, "Rebound, get ready to cover my ass. You'll be the big guns today."

[TAC4] "Rebound" Willem says, "Spider, Rebound. Copy that. Ass-covering engaged."

[Wolf-5: Xanthus] Jester lights up the vastness of space in front of him, contributing live ammunition to the collection his brothers and sisters are forming. Shots rip into his target's body, the poor toaster already busy dealing with shots coming from multiple vectors. Components fry and sizzle. It'll live, though. For now.

[Wolf-9: Martin]

In space, there is no sound, but that doesn't stop Martin 'Dash' Black's teeth from rattling at the concussive thumping of his Viper's cannons when they unload. Getting a solid hit in on a Raider that seems to be a tough bastard, he finds himself lucky enough to survive the initial wave. The field around him erupts in a strobe effect of smoking automatic weapons fire and discarded debris, as his Viper leads the plunge over the top of the Raiders. Quickly nose-turning for a follow up, he angles to trail after Raider 8 on a clean up pattern.

[TAC3] "Dash" Martin says, "Jester, Dash, continue on pattern and not bunch up on that one, Fingers is taking fire. Over."

[Wolf-2: Jupiter] Fingers shows off a little piloting move, and though it's largely unintentional, her zig to intercept a zag causes a beautiful dodge of incoming fire just as her guns light up the body of her target!

[TAC3] "Jester" Xanthus says, "Affirmative, Dash. Love 'em and leave 'em."

[TAC3] "Dash" Martin says, "Not my style, not my style. Let's smoke this motherfr—"

[TAC3] "Fingers" Jupiter says, "Nice shooting, folks. Let's see more like that."

[Into the Wireless] Jupiter says, "Nice shooting, folks. Let's see more like that."

[Wolf-3: Hale] The Raider didn't stand a chance against the combined onslaught it received from Rabbit, Merlin and Mooner. Rabbit quickly is coming back around looking on where to tag in. On those raider stupid enough to continue screaming through the Vipers on their way towards the Barn.

[Wolf-7: Castor] Tinman would curse as his shots miss, that is if he was showing any sign of emotion at the moment, for right now he is focused on killing the raider attacking his wingman. As the shots go over the bow Leda moves in for another pass because he is bound and determined to keep his wingman alive. Wolf-7 moves in for a close pass of the Raider as he attempts to take it out again.

[TAC3] "Rabbit" Hale says, " Good shooting, we have a few stragglers, lets knock them down, before they even et close to the Triple A line. Fingers, stay alive down there…"

[Wolf-8: Eddie] Eddie screams in after Hale, laying hard on the stick as she usually does. Who says there's no sound in space? A saxaphone blares in her cockpit, providing an eerie backdrop for the way the Black lights up around them with all the live fire. Her KEW scrapes a pretty pattern into the body of the Raider, and soon the thing will no longer prove to be a nuisance.

Sparky gets tagged and wobbles out of formation for a moment, but the damage isn't enough to keep him from the fight. Where there were four Raiders, there is now three, and the sleek vessels bank around sharply to give the annoying little bees buzzing around the hive another volley.

[Wolf-9: Martin]

With Raiders going down left and right, Dash has to turn his head away for a second to shield his eyes from the explosion. The result is that his shots miss, but there's little point anyway as the enemy fighter has died. Pulling up and away as the three Raiders are crushed, he immediately starts checking his DRADIS for more signs of incoming.

[TAC3] "Fingers" Jupiter says, "You didn't need that engine, did you little buddy?"

[Into the Wireless] Jupiter says, "You didn't need that engine, did you little buddy?"

[Wolf-2: Jupiter] Yes, Fingers enjoys mocking her kills even as she levies their death shots. Or blows off a wing, or takes out the engine, or simply scratches the paint. Her viper pulls a hot turn, heavy on the pedal action, and she's zooming back to rejoin her wing and choose another hapless target.

[TAC3] "Rabbit" Hale says, " Vipers, scramble it, mates. We got more incoming where those came from. Keep your heads. Show em you don't frak with the Colonies."

[TAC3] "Dash" Martin says, "Good shooting. Jester, Dash, keep on my wing and keep your damn eyes open, over."

[Wolf-7: Castor] It would appear Kale and Castor make a good team as the pair work quickly in dispatching the Raider that was on Kale. Tinman critically damaged the body of the raider with Kale moving in moments later to take the Raider out. It is strange how Kale moves around Tinman with almost robotic precission. As the pair manage to scratch the target they oddly say nothing, not even a shout for joy. However, as Hale chimes in Tinman responds to Hale.

[Wolf-5: Xanthus] Kew fire erupts from all sides, and Jester's target is ripped to shreads by the combined fire to the point where there may not be anything left to gloat over, though gloat he does. He drops his forward thrust, pivots in space, then puts his viper into high gear to form back up on his wingmate.

[TAC3] "Tinman" Castor says in cool emotionless tones, "Aye, sir, more incoming. You'd think they'd have run out by now."

[TAC3] "Jester" Xanthus says, "Thanks for playing, chump. Dash, I'm on you."

[Wolf-3: Hale] Hale's continuing his erratic Flight path as he's pitching right and pulling up, When more targets show, you can bet your ass, that Rabbit will be leading the charge right into the thick of them, or probably more accurately, bouncing right into the middle of them. Weapons remain hot, and eyes remain peeled.

[Wolf-8: Eddie] Eddie doesn't celebrate, but there sure is a satisfied grin on her lips as they systematically set 'em up and knock 'em down. The Air-wing might fight like cats and dogs back Kharon side, but up here they're moving together almost seamlessly.

Hale was right on the money about there being more where that came from. However the Raiders are communicating, it's clear that the call went out for reinforcements as another group of four Raiders breaks away from the Scorpian atmosphere and heads towards the Kharon at full tilt. They're just in time to witness their brethren get ripped apart by the Red Squadron's spectacular light show of KEW rounds.

[TAC3] "Dash" Martin says, "Actual, Dash, Splash one for me. Assist by Jester. Stay with me, Jester moving to next in line. Keep it up. KEEP IT UP!"

[Wolf-3: Hale] As the Raiders come in Hale's doing just as he set out to do, Bandit painted he is coming in hot after The lead Raider, at least the one that's ahead of the pack. KEW fire explodes as the Lieutenant rushes in. His shots pepper the Raider's engine, but instead of simply pulling up or slapping into another Target, Hale cuts thrusters and flips up, going belly up before engines are kicked back in. Rabbit remaining doggedly on his tail, letting the fire kick open again when he gets close to having a straight SOL

[TAC3] "Black Cat" Legacy says, "Affirmative, Spider. Diagnostics running, but it looks like my nav system is unhappy with me."

[TAC3] "Jester" Xanthus says, "Toeing the line, Dash."

[Wolf-9: Martin]

With the Dash-Jester connection roaring down the tracks, the first Raider in their sweep is pummeled in the aft, forcing its nose upwards. Martin returns with opening fire towards the body, striking vital internal components. The death is swift and the red-eye of the skull in front fades a second before the device ruptures. Screaming past and turning, leading the effective pair on the sweeping pattern, Dash takes their next target into consideration and opens fire.

[Wolf-7: Castor] Tinman moves into attack his raider but it proves to difficult this round, it would appear that Raiders are a bit slippery, much like trying to grab hold of a fish that is being pulled out of the water. However, Tinman doesn't seem to be phased, he moves in to make another pass at the Raider again, it would seem one pilot found himself a beotch during this combat round.

[Wolf-5: Xanthus] Jester plows the road with Dash, the pair swooping in like a pair of hungry locusts. After the pair make mince meat out of their last target, Jester pours on the speed, staying equivilent with his wingmate, but not in formation. He wallows low, then shoots up, zeroing in on the next target from another vector. He screams upwards, guns blazing.

[TAC3] "Black Cat" Legacy says, "Thea's voice is quiet and low. "Spider, Black Cat. We're losing fuel. I think the tank got hit, if not the differential.""

[TAC3] "Rebound" Willem says, "Frak, that's a lot. That's a whol Hell of a lot. Boss, Cat, you with me here?"

[Wolf-8: Eddie] Mooner is more then happy plow in right behind Hale, the two of them working rather well together with their targets. Almost disappointingly so, the Raider they are targeting doesn't go up in a big ball of BOOM.

Eerily enough, the Raiders don't fire at the Vipers this time, merely skim right through the thick of them and head towards the Kharon itself. Of course the ship was ready for the eventuality that the bandits might get close, and the Kharon fires off its heavy artillary in strategic blasts. Seems the Raiders are just testing the big boat, but aren't prepared to take it on themselves, and they bank back around into the fray. Somewhere in the middle of all this, Raider8, gets tag teamed and starts to spin out wildly crashing into the hull of the Kharon in a fiery display.

[TAC3] "Rabbit" Hale says, "They're getting too close for my likes mates. Stay on em."

[TAC3] "Mooner" Eddie says, "Copy that, Rabbit."

[Wolf-2: Jupiter] Fingers doggedly remains on her target's tail, the burn of her viper kicking in as she tries a dangerous little maneuver to cut it off as it swings around on the ass of her bunkmate, Yuuri. Though, if he bites it, she gets all of his booze…

[TAC3] "Black Cat" Legacy says, "Case, Black Cat. You've got your orders from Spider. I've got to set down. We'll try to radio for SAR and will keep the com open. Good hunting and good luck."

[TAC3] "Rabbit" Hale says, "Fingers, Rabbit. Watch it, we've got hot fire all around. Yuuri try an shake em."

[Wolf-9: Martin] Martin about chokes as their co-destroyed Raider spins out of control towards the Kharon before exploding. Yanking the stick to get another attempt at a shot at it as it's on course, he lets it go and decides to radio it in. That precious time wasted causes his shots on his Raider of choice to miss, but Xanthus paints it. Continuing pursuit, he continues to chase it down.

[Wolf-2: Jupiter] Fingers has a yen for engines today. Her fire tears through the engine of her target, and she gives the stick a shove downward, taking her viper in a swift dip just under a little space trash that used to be someone else's target. Situational awareness saves her engine from eating a chunk of raider, or was that viper. Frak. There goes Kale.

[TAC3] "Fingers" Jupiter says, "Blue skies, Bunny. Except for… uh. That."

[TAC3] "Dash" Martin says, "FRAK who was that??!? Sound off…Actual, Dash, collision imminent on lower starboard near deck —-…Frak. Jester stay on me. Let's finish this."

[Wolf-5: Xanthus] Swinging hard, Jester's viper burns speed and manages to keep on his and Martin's target. Just. He manages some well placed shots that crack against the Raider's right wing, and then he loses the hard target once more. He rocks hard to the other side, kills his throttle in the process, then makes his engine whine when he demands 110% of it at a moment's notice.

[Wolf-3: Hale] Rabbit is doggedly remaining on his Raider, that Kale's KO comes as a surprise. A turn of his head, before he's moving to keep clear of Fingers, but continue to herd and corral the bandit into Eddie and Finger's fire.

[TAC3] "Jester" Xanthus says, "Jester reporting in. Push it. Push it."

[Wolf-7: Castor] As Wolf-7, aka Tinman, can see his wingman suddenly nailed he continues onward with his detached emotionless silence and piloting, if he was showing any emotion at this point no one could say because he doesn't so much as even cry out. However, his actions show some hint of emotion as he turns on the Raider that just took his wingman out. It would appear that one pilot has a grudge and there is a certain Raider that is going to be taken out one way or another.

[TAC3] "Rabbit" Hale says, " Dash, Rabbit. Who did we lose back there?"

[Wolf-8: Eddie] Well, her lucky streak had to end eventually. While Eddie's rolling through a hard burn to keep up with Hale, her KEW rounds skim over nothing and find purchase in…nothing. They still vastly outnumber the bandits, but the tides are definitely starting to change.

There's only one word across the comms from Kale, and that's, "Frak." Before his Viper is ripped apart by a lone Raider. The ammunition eats up the side of his bird and heavily peppering the cockpit, ripping the Canopy free and Kale is sucked into the sweet Black as he's popped out in his ejector seat. He might survive, but that hope is quickly torn away as he slams with such force into Castor's canopy that he stays there for a moment. A long moment ticks away, with Kale's lifeless eyes staring at Castor through the heavy clear polymer, before the velocity rips his body away and sends him hurtling off towards the stars.

[TAC3] "Black Cat" Legacy says, "Ivory, Black Cat. I'm going down, as I told Case. Focus. On. Your. Objective."

[Wolf-2: Jupiter] Once again, Fingers is dodging some strange fella trying to sneak up behind her. And again, she makes with the engine shot on her target. Eat it! There can't be a lot of functioning engine going on with that raider, and things are looking up for the Air Wing. Aside from… that… thing with Kale.

[Wolf-9: Martin]

Giving his wingman the better shots at the risk of trying to get a bit more of an eye on the rest of the squadron, Dash moves his eyes to the controls. Spotting the DRADIS readout, he does a quick glance and scans the designations. Spotting some of the wreckage and seeing Castor without a wingman, he furrows his brow.

[TAC3] "Dash" Martin says, "Actual, Dash. Looks like they got Kale. His Viper's wrecked I see no sign of a pullout. Tinman, you got his status? Dash out."

[Wolf-3: Hale] Rabbit pulls up and away as Jupiter catches the Raider after Yuuri. And now he's coming around to survey how the Home team is going. As Dash chimes in, there's a glance down to the DRADIS readout again and another look over.

[Wolf-7: Castor] From his cockpit it has been a whirlwind moment, seeing his wingman dead, literally on Tinman's canopy looking at him with lifeless eyes and then the attack, a moment later both Dash and Tinman make hits to the Raider that took his wingman out. A cold and detached voice speaks on the com a moment later.

[TAC3] "Tinman" Castor says in cold and detached tones, "Status, KIA - Dash. I can confirm as his body his my canopy." Morbid much, a little, yeah.

[TAC3] "Rabbit" Hale says, " Actual, Rabbit. Triple is KIA as confirmed. *a sigh following*"

[Wolf-8: Eddie] Eddie's a little shaken, but not stirred. She's streaming after her objective, following Hale's lead but trying to make sure nothing is on his tail. Her bandit is a little fiestier, and dodges her attack, only to go all nice and 'splodey thanks to the other's efforts.

DRADIS lights up like a Christmas display by Tim Taylor. More power. Arr Arr Arr. Contacts in atmo flick into view as a few dozen raiders take to the skies and hurtle out into space. ETA to Kharon is just under seven minutes, by the time the contacts light up. They break atmo and hit a heavy burn headed toward the Kharon. Red peppers the DRADIS screens, the contacts numbering in … 10, no, 15? No, easily twenty and climbing. The hornet's nest is alive, and it's spewing out its warriors.

[TAC3] "Rabbit" Hale says, " All Vipers, Rabbit. we got more coming in hot. Get ready for evasive maneuvers..Frak that's a lot."

[TAC3] "Dash" Martin says, "A lot? Gods it's a beautiful frakkin war. Jester, Dash. Leapfrogging cover, hang on back there I'll clear the road and watch eachother."

[TAC3] "Rabbit" Hale says, " Dash, Rabbit. That's the frakkin spirit. Now lets pour our lead into em."

[TAC3] "Mooner" Eddie says, "I can't count this high unless I take off my shoes…"

[TAC3] "Dash" Martin says, "Count Fingers' former partners instead, that's what I do."

[TAC3] "Dash" Martin says, "Love you, Sis. Let's KILL these frakkers and head home. KEEP THEM OFF THE KHARON! COME ON, MOTHER FRA— (sounds of gunfire)"

[TAC3] "Fingers" Jupiter says, "FRAK my ass—"

[Into the Wireless] Jupiter says, "FRAK my ass—"

[Wolf-3: Hale] Fire streaks out from Rabbit's viper as he joins in Jupiter's wrecking ball on the poor Raider who flung itself head long into four pilots, However Jupiter takes Fire from Raider two, there's a violent pull of his bird, off, just as his former target explodes into goo, fire and metal. KEW erupting as Rabbit flies high and fast.

[Wolf-7: Castor] In this game of Cat and Mouse, one Tinman and one Raider dance with each other, it would appear that things are getting heated between the two as they manuever back and forth, each attempting to line the best shot. Tinman however is a skilled gunner and the raider makes a small mistake, a mistake which leads to a volley of shots running into the Raider's body. The damage is light, but it is still a hit.

[TAC3] "Rabbit" Hale says, " Fingers, Rabbit. What's your status? *Sounds of gun fire easily picked up.*"

[TAC3] "Case" Samantha says, "*static echoes over*…-pter, krypter…*more static* Came ou- *static* …Case do- *static*.."

[TAC3] (from "Dash" Martin) ..frak. Jester, Dash, form up on Tinman's wing and buy him some cover he's all alone out there. Head to bearing 32 carom niner, bring down on his attacker. Fingers SOUND the FRAK off gods damnit. We've got this. Stand your frakking ground and double down on targets! Frak this…

[TAC3] "Rebound" Willem says, "Kharon, Rebound. That's Case. Case. Shit. Screamer, you here? And..SHIT. Raptor down. Raptors DOWN."

[Wolf-8: Eddie] Mooner keeps on Hale's lead, only breaking away when necessary to make room in the suddenly crowded sky. They're coming, and they just keep coming. Seems like the Kharon has really stirred the shit this time, and now it's sticking to their boots and they can't be scraped off.

When the team picks off one Raider, it seems to be replaced by two. And their front of Vipers can no longer hold off the line of advancing Cylon vessels. Some are slipping through, strafing the Kharon herself with angry heated fire.

[Wolf-2: Jupiter] Fingers is just on a turn from attack trajectory. She snaps off a pot shot at her target, and blows the cockpit in two just as a return volley from some other asshole slams into her viper. A chunk of something blows off, and steering gets really, really difficult. Any minute now, the pilot will notice her flight suit is slowly venting oxygen.

[TAC3] "Screamer" Antioch says, "I'm still here. Case took the tumble right in front of me. Not a direct hit, but she's doing the wounded goose, all the way down."

[Wolf-9: Martin]

After taking a nasty hit to the body of his Viper, Martin takes a look at the damage reports while covering his tactical end of the battle with his wingman. Jerking the stick hard to form up on a path that'll let Jester drop off and defend Castor's attacking Raider2, Dash kicks his engines forward on a death-defying attack on the one harassing Mooner, fighting to get closer to his damaged sister's Viper.

[TAC3] "Mooner" Eddie says, "The pool's getting a little crowded in here, Rabbit…"

[TAC3] "Rabbit" Hale says, " Copy that Mooner. Kharon this is Rabbit, we're out gunned here. I got one pilot down and another bird thats wounded. Over."

[TAC3] "Rabbit" Hale says, " Fingers, Rabbit. Give me your status"

[TAC3] "Rebound" Willem says, "What the? We're just -leaving- them to frakking die here. <the sound of a sigh> Copy, Actual. Rebound here. My bird is clean. RTB. Repeated. RTB. Turning tail."

[TAC3] "Kharon Actual" Sheridan says, "Rabbit, Kharon. You are ordered to RTB. I repeat, all points RTB and prepare for immediate jump."

[TAC3] "Rabbit" Hale says, " Kharon, Rabbit. Copy that Actual."

[TAC3] "Screamer" Antioch says, "Screamer RTB, Actual. Almost back."

[TAC3] "Dash" Martin says, "Actual, Dash, providing RTB cover inside perimeter."

[Wolf-3: Hale] Rabbit's pulling about as the call is given, but it doesn't mean they stop fighting to get in towards the Bard, He'll cut himself a gods damned path back if he needs to. And seemingly, that is is what he will be doing. KEW firing, trying to get everyone in.

[TAC3] "Rabbit" Hale says, " All Vipers, RTB, RTB, combat landings. And Fingers, Frakking sing out for me."

[TAC3] "Rebound" Willem says, "tac3 Actual, Rebound. RTB. Combat landing. Clean. Damn clean."

[Wolf-7: Castor] As the cat and mouse game continue between Tinman and his raider another player comes into the game in an attempt to move in on the action the alone causes Tinman to be cautious in his piloting and his gunnery, at this point he is attempting to shoot at one Raider while being trailed by another, however, he hasn't been hit yet. Wolf-7 continues to weave as it attempts to shoot his way back to the Kharon.

[Wolf-11: Willem] Willem's one of the lucky ones. He comes screaming through Scorpia's atmosphere and into visual range along with Antioch. His Viper seems untouched.

[Wolf-12: Antioch] Antioch beelines for the Kharon, like a wet cat streaking for the safety of under the couch, and no mercy to any toasters which try to stop him. They should be so lucky to get in his way at this point.

[Wolf-9: Martin]

So mad that he could spit fire, Martin's eyes narrow into furious slits. Spider, Black Cat, Case, Triple, and almost his own sister down. Staying just outside the landing zone to provide cover for those limping their combat landings, Dash is drunk on death. Cursing off the comms as he opens fire, guilty at being one of the lucky ones to get away, he's going to make them suffer first. He'll be damned if they lose any more of his comrades.

[TAC3] "Dash" Martin says, "FINGERS SOUND THE FRAK OFF! Rebound, Screamer, I'm going to cut you open a hole for RTB. Ain't no thing, guys, ain't no thing. Just like training."

[TAC3] "Screamer" Antioch says, "I'm shiny, untouched, willing and able to help you swat some hornets, Dash. I've never liked being the first to leave a party."

[TAC3] (from "Fingers" Jupiter) .. I frak… *static* at the barn.

[Into the Wireless] .. I frak… *static* at the barn.

[TAC3] "Kharon Actual" Sheridan says, "All of you get the frak back to the barn. We are commencing jump in 5 minutes."

[TAC3] "Kharon Actual" Sheridan says, "OOC correction: make that 2!"

[TAC3] "Rebound" Willem says, "Don't do anything like that on -my- account, Dash. Not on -my- account. Just, go. I'll get in there. Somehow."

[TAC3] "Rabbit" Hale says, "Roger that Kharon. All Vipers cut for home now. Lets hump it. Dash, that means you, on me- now."

[TAC3] "Tinman" Castor says in calm tones, "Aye, Rabbit, moving to RTB."

[Wolf-8: Eddie] Mooner rewets her lips with a quick pass of her tongue, her breath suddenly hot in the stifling helmet. An annoying line of sweat has started to trickle down her neck, and she shifts in her seat uncomfortably. There's a break in all the blur of vessels infront of her, and she threads her Viper through it like through the eye of a needle. The Raider on her tail misses his shot, but Eddie manages to blow a few holes in the Engine of one of those crescent shaped ships as she banks around to reform for the RTB.

Meanwhile, the Raiders are starting to swarm around the Kharon, poking at her like an angry Woodpecker in search of a tasty bug beneath the hull plating. As the Vipers try to pick a path clean back to their home base, Typhys Yuuri gets himself into a bit of a spot. While he's trying to skim around one Raider, two come out of no where on a crash collision course. Unable to pull himself out, and the Raiders not realizing they're playing chicken with each other, Yuuri finds his bird sandwiched between the two freight trains. The three vessels are hard to tell apart for the split second the twisted metal is visible before they all explode.

[Wolf-11: Willem] Full burn. Full burn. Willem's cutting it close, gunning for the barn, briefly squeezing off a few rounds helplessly at one of the Raiders. No luck.

[TAC3] "Dash" Martin says, "Frak you, Rabbit. Rebound, Screamer. You got 100 seconds. BURST AND MOVE YOUR ASS. Actual I WILL be in the barn but I don't expect you to wait. They might have intel on down points they've GOT to get in."

[TAC3] "Mooner" Eddie says, "Dash, they're jumping away. Go, gods dammit, go!"

[TAC3] "Rabbit" Hale says, "Dash. RTB Now. We don't have time for this sabre rattling shit. We're going-"

[TAC3] "Rebound" Willem says, "I don't need you to frakking remind me Dash. All of you, IN NOW."

[TAC3] "Kharon Actual" Sheridan says, "Rabbit, Kharon. Get those godsdamned pilots on the ship. NOW."

[Wolf-12: Antioch] Antioch tosses off a few irked shots as he makes that final run for the Kharon, like the wet cat that now decides under the sink is an even better place to hide.

[Wolf-9: Martin]

Pissing metal, Dash tries his best to keep a hole cut open while he watches Yuuri's craft explode. Hissing, he waits until Rebound and Screamer are close enough before shooting out, turning, and rushing in for a hard, hard combat landing. This one might hurt.

[TAC3] "Dash" Martin says, "Dash RTB now, confirmed KIA on Typhoon, visual confirmation…"

[Wolf-3: Hale] They're moving Rabbit making sure Martin's coming in before he's coming in himself, going in for the landing, so they can all get the frak out of here.

[Wolf-7: Castor] Tinman has finally cut his way through and he moves in for his own combat landing.

[Wolf-11: Willem] Wil's in a bad state, kicking up the throttle and bringing his otherwise-functional bird with a seething jockey in for a combat landing, as advised.

[Wolf-12: Antioch] Antioch streaks in, and comes skidding to a halt cleanly, continuing his streak of not dying today. Lucky him.

[Wolf-3: Hale] Rabbit comes in for a hard landing, as he bounces on the deck, but for a combat landing, its quite successful. There's a grimace he's set, and when the Canopy is open, Hale's coming out as the helmet's removed. He does not look pleased.

[Wolf-8: Eddie] Even coming in hot, Eddie manages to put her bird down safe, waiting the annoying moments it takes for her to get banked back down in the Hangar.

[Wolf-5: Xanthus] Clearly it is time to get out of here. Now. Jester pours on the afterburners. His approach is… hasty. Very hasty. He's coming in too fast. His angle is wrong… but he sure is going fast, isn't he? While this reckless method does help distance him from Raiders, it's certainly a short term solution to things.

[Wolf-2: Jupiter] The heavily damaged Wolf-2 comes in a little hot on the stick. It's immediately obvious the controls are not responding as usual, since Fingers is always quick to compensate for shitting approach. Her viper hits hard, slams down on the deck nose first, leaving a huge trail on the landing. She almost takes out the pilot who landed in front of her, and ends with a tipped viper, unresponsive to comms. Luckily, Deck is pretty hardcore on it, so she probably won't suffocate from that slow leak before someone gets to her to tow her in.

[Wolf-7: Castor] Wolf-7 holding one Castor 'Tinman' Leda comes in on a full combat landing, there is no need for tension as the landing is purely textbook, it isn't poetry or anything special by any means however it is a safe and clean landing. As the ship lands he waits for his canopy to open so that he can exit out of his bird. it is clear that Wold-7 has taken no damage, the Chief should likt that.

[Wolf-9: Martin] Wolf-9 comes in for a hard combat landing, and the streaming group of incoming Vipers seem to be a series of goods and bads. On the good side, some people manage to make it down. On the bad side, mechanical failure takes the Vipers over. Dash is, unfortunately, on the bad side. Due to the hull damage from his attack, he doesn't realize that one of his wing segments is loose. The moment the skids of the Viper hits the deck, his port side wing loosens and scrapes a long row of sparks into the flight deck. The momentum catches, and Wolf 9 is flipped onto its side with a loud bang. A streak of paint and grated sparks forms down the length of the landing strip as Dash is clearly jostled inside, finally coming to a dead stop with flickering running lights.

[Wolf-5: Xanthus] Jester, true to form, hits the deck with a beautiful shower of sparks. It might not have been all that bad of a landing, but it's when he taps the stick just a hair to one side to adjust and account for things that he overdoes it. The viper's front landing gear buckles somewhat and the bird spins out, a genuine danger to anyone on foot. A deckhand dives for cover and thus gets to actually keep her head. Lucky her! Xanth's wild ride ends with a loud /crush/ noise as a wing embeds itself into a metal drum. Luckiy for everyone involved, the drums are empty. So is the pilot's pride.

Eddie pops the canopy before she's even really docked back in her slot, peeling off her helmet as if she desperately needs fresh air. She slings her leg over the side, impatiently waiting for the ladder to get clipped to the side of her bird. She maybe uses one or two rungs, then jumps the remaining distance to the deck just before Kharon shudders a nice clean jump away, shucking off the remaining Raiders outside like fire to ticks. She's ashened face, her expression thin. "Mooner, present and accounted for."

His Viper on its side, Martin's good about shutting off the power and the ammo feed, controlling its ability to explode just in case. Pushing on the canopy, he finds that he has to force it. A few deck hands rush over to help pry it open to give him room to get out. Crawling out, he rips off his helmet in the process and sends it rolling across the floor. Landing on his back, his face is flushed with sweat as he tries to catch his breath. His hand moves to the front of his suit, unzipping it and staring at the ceiling. That's when Sheridan chimes in. His fist slams into the hull beneath him as he bellows out a loud, frustrated, angry roar. Then…he scrambles to get up, stalking to try to find Jupiter's Viper. "Dash, accounted for. We need some gods-damned deck hands, Where's Fingers?!"

Smoke rises from Xanth's less-than three point landing. Deck crew manage to get the canopy open, though it does take a bit of doing. The pilot's been knocked out cold and it takes more than the usual number of deck-hands to get the man out of his bent up ride. The chief and he will Have Words.

"I'm fine" Wil snaps, suddenly. "I'm the -last- person you need to worry about, right now." He snaps his head towards the too-few arriving pilots and strides on over behind Rabbit. His forehead wrinkles as he stares at the unopened Viper. He goes from panicked to slightl-dead-looking.

One Castor Leda pops out of his Viper, an unlit cigar sits in his mouth, however, there is no typical grin on his face. Instead there is a simple quiet determination on his face as he steps down, things just went south and Leda doesn't like the loss of two friends. He takes a moment to step away from his Viper to let the deck gang go to work which gives him a moment to say, "Leda, alive and kicking." He thumbs to a knuckledragger, "No damage on that one, take care of Dash's viper would you?" It isn't an order as much as a request, his eyes drift over to Dash just to make sure everything is alright.

Medics and deck crew have been called over towards Jupiter's bird- it seems Willem's own snappings don't bring a reaction from Hale, instead there's a look both to Martin and Eddie as the report in. a soft exhale of breath. "Good." A nod to Leda. "Right now, we need to clear the deck, and get ready to debrief.." that's all Hale can think of at the moment as he is looking back towards where the medics and deck gang are, working to get Jupiter out, as well as anyone else downed he might have missed. "Its not doing us good to stand here. Deck and medical have things in hand, and once I know more- I'll give it, but lets clear the deck" seems like order is going to work out..And with that The Tall Lieutenant is hurrying over join the medic teams

Kassia steps back as Leda climbs down her ladder, she reasure herself he's fine before her eyes go to Martin and then his sister's Viper. "Frak." she whispers, softly not moving from besides the Viper she's stood next to, she's not even hurt really that Castor gave her no acknowledgment.

With some of the pilots crawling out of their wreckage, Jupiter does not. Hence immediately the deck crew and a group of medical staff on standby with gurneys and crash kits and get to work on prying her Viper's canopy open. It's like watching an earthquake recovery team on the news, the technicians and deck hands stabilize the bird so that the paramedics can retrieve the pilot. When they do, the bleeding form of Jupiter 'Fingers' Black is pulled from the cockpit and quickly rushed onto a carry-cart. Bleeding heavily from the thigh and unconcious, the retinue of medics start to rush her towards sickbay.

Castor watches as the medical crew moves in to help Jupiter, he frowns and says softly to no one, "Please, no more pilots at least not today." It could almost be a prayer. He then spots Kassia and he walks over to join the woman as he says, "Little one, things didn't go so well out there for some of us." He then says with warm tones, "And it is good to see you." There is a certain sense of weight, the sort of weight that comes from seeing your wingman's deadbody on your canopy which makes you appreciate life all the more.

"Yeah. Debriefing. Debriefing." Wil shakes his head as he just clambers over towards the edge of the deck, stunned. It's one thing to losemost of what you have in life from a distance. It's another to be in your first losing combat op. He's not -that- seasoned.

Kassia's are also on Jupiter as they lift the woman out, she's about to move off when Castors speaks from behind her, she turns around slowly her eyes sad, but she managers a smile for his and a fleeting touch to his cheek. "I heard, I was in CIC." She says softly then takes a deep breath. "Go debrief I'm going to head down to medical, lend a hand we have a few get knocked aroud on here also."

Antioch shoves his hands into his pockets, looking quietly lost for a moment. Not the best when it comes to social situations, he's a bit at loose ends until his brain catches back up with him.

Castor notes the sadness in Kassia's eyes and he says softly, "Kassia, I want to see you later." There is something sympathetic in his voice as well as something supportive. He adds, "But I really am glad to see you." Leda has seen action before and he has seen people die around him but never someone hitting his canopy. He then says, "And after I brief I might come and help you."

Martin starts to stalk after Jupiter and then stops as he hears a mention of debriefing. His face contorts and his eyebrows narrow. His head whips around and glares daggers at Hale. Trying to cover it the best he can, he looks to Kassia and gives her a plaintiff look if she's heading after Jupiter. Balling his fist, he stalks in the direction of the ready room.

Kassia nods her head slowly at Castor before stepping towards Martin. "I'll go with her Martin." She says softly her hand touching his arm. "I'll let you know if she wake." Kassia, then moves off to follow the injuried pilot.

Finally, Wil shuffles, a complete lack of spring in his step as he looks towards the mess of pilots headed to sickbay. Finally, he wordlessly makes his way off the deck, much like Martin does.

Eddie turns her gaze towards Jupiter's Viper, where most of the eyes are glued for the moment while they pull that pilot out and get her situated for the trip down to sickbay. She shakes her head slightly, pulling her gaze away and trying to return to the hear and now. Right. Mooner shakes her hand through her sweat dampened locks, her eyes dropping to the deck as she ambles off towards the Ready Room for the head count.
