History

John Edward Cassidy was born in one of the inland rural areas on Aerelon, where his family had a farm. He moved to one of the larger cities on the colony for medical school and residency, before he joined the Colonial military, as a doctor.

Family

His parents, William and Patricia Cassidy, are farmers, and their oldest son, Paul(three years older than John), has already taken over much of the work on said farm. John's maternal aunt, Anita Hutchinson, is a doctor.
